Pelvic clamp is good for compression of pelvis when the pelvic circle gets injured. That causes reduction of pelvic extent, tamponing of bleeding vessels is needed. Pelvic clamp fixing is easier and faster than at outer fixator and it enables stronger compression in back part of pelvic circle.
