Unique heel surgery performed using titanium nails by surgeons in Pardubice

Unique foot fracture surgery was done by surgeons in Regional Hospital in Pardubice. The first surgery of its kind was carried out by doctors on a patient, who broke both his heels on holiday abroad. They reinforced the injured heels with titanium nails. Spokeswoman of Regional Hospital in Pardubice, Alice Štrajtová Stefkova, released the news to the newspaper Pravo on Tuesday.
