Replacement of Metatarsophalangeal toe joint is used by the arthritis of the first MTP toe joint (hallux rigidus).

 

This is a cementless replacement, its anchoring parts are fitted with a combined titanium porous surface with the hydroxyapatite layer.

 

The implant is modular, which is able to use as hemiarthroplasty or as total replacement. Material of the anchoring parts is Ti6Al4V alloy (ISO 5832-3), heads are made of CoCrMo (ISO 5832-4) and distal elements for total replacement are made of chirulen (UHMWPE).
