The implant is part of primary hip joint replacement system applied using PMMA bone cement to replace the acetabulum.
The implant consists of a thick layer of high-molecular polyethylene (UHMWPE). External contour is spherical and grooved with fixatives. Inner articulating surface has a diameter of 28 respectively 32 mm. There are three versions designed: “Standard”, “Flat” and “Anti-luxation”.
Less abrasion and easier implantation are the main advantages of this product.
